One of our boldest launches on Shopify this year, Eittem (pronounced item) was established in 2024 in Chelsea, New York City. Founded by Creative Director Erin Saluti, the studio implements meticulous craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology to produce timeless, sculptural pieces that function as handbags, but are just at home on a plinth as they are a shoulder.

The Brief — New York creative agency General Idea contacted us to devise a technology strategy to launch this soon to be iconic New York brand.
The Solution — after carefully considering headless or theme, we opted to develop a custom Storefront 2.0 Theme to launch Eittem on Shopify(find out why we're doubling down on custom themes here).
